R-442/VRC VHF FM military receiver, usually used as part of AN/VRC-12, VRC-44, VRC-47, or VRC-48 mobile radio sets. Frequency coverage 30 – 75.95 MHz, in 920 50 KHz channels. Has both 150 Hz tone operated and noise operated squelch settings. Power requirement 24-28 VDC 0.75 A, power connections through MT-1898 mount and DC power cable CX-4720 which are included. 13.5 x 5.8 x 8.9, 31 lb sh. Unit is in good condition, has an Israeli Defense Force (IDF) name tag (in Hebrew), appears partially repainted, receive sensitivity < 1 uV for full quieting on all MHz bands, may have been depot serviced.
